In 1997, the company started the first trans European Electronic Mail Network for Packaging Professionals - a free, "self-help" email forum that was operational until December 2005 - closing only as it had been largely superseded by use of search engines.
We were also instrumental in leading a campaign to have the local telephone exchange upgraded to ADSL / Broadband to facilitate modern work practices and lifestyles in the region. Since the exchange was upgraded in June, many people are now enjoying these benefits.
